Series Recap

The Rebels won both games at home last weekend to give them a 2 – 0 lead in the division finals against the Johnstown Tomahawks. The Rebels took the first game 5 – 2 and then the second game 4 – 3 on a goal by Eric Carreras with 3:41 into overtime. Games three and four will be played at the Cambria County War Memorial on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 (if necessary). Both games will begin at 7:30pm. Should a fifth game be needed, it would be played on Sunday, May 8 at 6:00pm at the IceWorks Skating Complex. The Rebels and Tomahawks split the regular season series against each other in Johnstown with four wins apiece.

Johnstown Overview

The Tomahawks are led by Casey Linkenheld who has five points in the playoffs (three goals and two assists). Anthony Parrucci (who is tied with Linkenheld with most playoff goals with three) has four points along with Niko Coffman, Filips Buncis and Drew Doyon. Rebels Overview

Fifth Game and Semi-Finals

A deciding game (if necessary) will be played on Sunday, May 8 at 6:00pm at the IceWorks Skating Complex. The winner of this series will move onto the semi-finals of the Robertson Cup playoffs which will begin on Thursday, May 12 in Edina, Minnesota.
